Helping take NSF into the future, along with my team of experts in their fields, and ensuring the continued success of this multi-award-winning business. In my spare time, I enjoy a good murder mystery and anything Sci-Fi. I can usually be found crafting something new whilst watching the latest binge-worthy series or listening to my favourite heavy metal bands.

An accomplished HR Director with 3 years’ service at NSF Controls, responsible for leading the company’s people strategy and aligning HR initiatives within the business.

With a strong focus on development and culture, I partner closely with the management team to support workforce planning and deliver effective people solutions that enable business growth. I am committed to building high-performing teams and embedding HR practices that support both company success and employee well-being.

I am extremely passionate about travel and love to get to the sunshine or the ski slopes whenever I can.

I joined NSF Controls after completing my Mechanical Engineering degree and work on designing and developing bespoke solenoid solutions. Each product is engineered to meet our customers’ exact requirements, with precision, thorough testing, and close collaboration across the design and manufacturing process. Outside of work, I enjoy tinkering with cars, travelling, exploring new cultures, and trying different cuisines along the way.

Mark Taylor

Operations Manager

I am an experienced operations manager dedicated to driving long-term business success through continuous improvement and people development. Since beginning my career as an engineering apprentice in 2012, I have earned an HNC in mechanical engineering, a CMI Level 5 in Leadership and Management, and a Six Sigma Green Belt qualification, and I am currently studying for a BSc in project management.

Today, I leverage that blend of hands-on technical background and strategic leadership to upskill our workforce and future-proof the business. I believe that investing in our current team is the most effective way to build lasting success.

Life outside of work is equally active—I spend most of my free time proudly serving as “Dad’s taxi,” championing my wife’s bakery business, and occasionally getting out to the range for some clay pigeon shooting.

Richard Gavaghan

Quality Manager

With 11 years of experience in Quality assurance in the manufacturing industry, I have joined the NSF Controls family, as Quality Manager to ensure our products meet required specifications, tolerances and customer expectations, whilst driving continual improvement and maintaining our ISO9001 & ISO14001 certifications.

As a father of four children, most of my spare time is spent at the side of a football/Rugby field somewhere in Yorkshire, but given the opportunity, I do like to attend live music gigs.

Tom Moore

Customer Relationship Manager

I joined NSF Controls in March 2026, after over 10 years in the printing industry. As Customer Relationship Manager, my role is to focus on building lasting client partnerships, delivering responsive support, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

In my free time, I enjoy going to the gym, walking in the Yorkshire Dales with my family, and travelling.

I joined NSF Controls in 2011 as a Commercial Administrator; my current job title is Sales Account Coordinator.

Outside of work, I enjoy cooking and baking, particularly for celebrations, creating cakes for family and friends. I relish spending time working in my garden, although I’m not patient enough to grow my own produce. But most of all, I love my “Granny Time” with my two wonderful granddaughters.
