What Are Magnetic Latching Solenoids?

Magnetic latching solenoids are a type of open-frame solenoid which have permanent magnets incorporated into their circuitry. The magnets provide a strong hold position with no power required, making them ideal for battery-operated or continuous-duty applications.

Also known as keep solenoids or hold solenoids, magnetic latching solenoids are available in a variety of sizes, providing different voltage capabilities and stroke lengths.
