Magnetic Latching Solenoid Details
Magnetic latching solenoids are a type of open-frame solenoid which have permanent magnets incorporated into their circuitry.
The magnets provide a strong hold position with no power required, this makes them ideal for battery operated or continuous-duty applications.
Also known as keep solenoids or hold solenoids, magnetic latching solenoids are available in a variety of sizes providing different voltage capabilities and stroke lengths.
Due to their low power consumption, magnetic latching solenoids are excellent locking solutions for a variety of applications where precision is not critical.
A cost effective, energy efficient solenoid for high-volume applications. Customisation of the plunger end, terminals, mounting holes is available subject to minimum order quantities.
