The Good Shepherd Centre in Keighley appealed for help from local residents to send aid to the Ukrianian refugees crossing the border into Poland. They have arranged a lorry to deliver all the donations to the Polish borders on Friday 4th of March.

Becca had seen this facebook post and that morning Becca and Kate decided they wanted to do something to help. They quickly organised a cash collection box, and had posters placed around the factory for donations of medicines, clothing, footwear, toiletries and nappies.

The generous members of staff at NSF Controls donated boxes and bags of all the items required and raised an amazing £549 in just 24 hours.

Volunteers at The Good Shepherd Centre are in constant communication with connections in Poland advising on the most desperately needed items. The money will go towards torches, food, camping stoves and other items that are not so easily transported across Europe, due to legislation and tracing protocols.

More lorries will be leaving  for Poland next week so donations are still welcomed.
